Creosote is an oil based preservative, a by-product of coal tar. It is a heavy duty preservative that is highly water resistant and can be recognised by the black colour it leaves on the wood. We wholesale and retail cresote poles mainly within the KZN region. All of our poles are made to SABS 457 H3 and H4 specifications.

Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA) is a wood preservative that has been in use since the mid 1930’s. It is a mixture of chromium, copper, and arsenate and can be recognised by the greenish tint it gives the wood. We plan on having CCA in full production by the end of 2024.
